Is your allegiance to a Corporate Plutocracy or to a Constitutional Republic?

I received this message today from an alleged "educator".

As a college professor, my dirty little secret is the fact that I can convince people that I really hate George Bush. Along with my public school teachers, we really don't care who wins this election. There's no economic impact on my pocketbook no matter who gets in. See, I'm guaranteed employment as a state servant of the education system. They love me enough to keep me around forever. So as I said, I don't care who wins. Now the rest of you may care if you put in a waffler or a cowboy, I don't. As I said, my job is secure and secure for life. Sorry. Bye.

Marlene Tobin, Americans For Fair Taxation (AFFT) PA State Director recently requested feedback from all candidates regarding their "Fair Tax" position. AFFT currently has a score card on their web which lists all incumbents and their position on FairTax. They are planning to post an updated FairTax scorecard on their State website listing each incumbent and candidate running for election in 2004. Here is an abstract of the Bill and my response.

H.R.25
Title: To promote freedom, fairness, and economic opportunity by repealing the income tax and other taxes, abolishing the Internal Revenue Service, and enacting a national sales tax to be administered primarily by the States.

As I see it, on top of credit card, car, and mortgage payments and interest, approximately $9.96 is the laboring man's debt to the owners of the Federal Reserve for each $10.00 of his labor. Here's how:

The "bill" which a laboring man perceives he has earned for his labor cost the Federal Reserve approximately4.2 cents to print - regardless of its denomination. In reality this means that for every $10.00 of a man's labor, he is in debt approximately $9.96 to the owners of the Federal Reserve; $19.96 for every $20.00, and $99.96 for every $100.00.

Should the proposed "national sales tax" be implemented at a typical 7% using the current currency: For every $100.00 purchase the American buyer makes, he or she will be indebted approximately $107.00 to the owners of the Federal Reserve, $21.40 for a $20.00 purchase, and $10.40 for every $10.00 purchase. Should the buyer use a debit card, the owners of the Federal Reserve's profit will increase by, at least, $.04.

Although this "national sales tax" - in reality - is somewhat better than the IRS' approximate 20% rate of extortion on the working man or woman's labor, it still does not meet the Constitutional criteria for a lawful monetary system.

It is my opinion that a "national sales tax" will not resolve the economic realities that are brought about by a debt based monetary system that is owned and operated by a cartel of private bankers; a Plutocracy.

From the "Title" definition of H.R.25 as found on the web, and the reasons given above, I will answer:

d... "Leans Against Support of HR25"

Thank you for requesting my feedback. I hope you will consider refocusing the energy of Americans For Fair Tax in a manner consistent with the founding principles of our Constitutional Republic.

"What do you think you can accomplish in a Democrat and Republican controlled Congress?"

I have been asked the question; "What do you think you can accomplish in a Democrat and Republican controlled Congress?"

If this is your question, here is my reply:

Realistically, little can be done by a "freshman" in Congress; and the present congressman's record has shown him to be no exception to this reality. Unlike the present Congressman, however, I have not compromised the integrity of my allegiance to the people in our geographic area. I do not sit on the Board of Directors of the United Nations Association of Northeastern Pennsylvania. As such, I can, with your help, make sensible decisions on behalf of our children, our grandchildren, and our beloved nation.

My first term goals in the U.S. House of Representatives are to:

- Co-Sponsor "The Constitution Restoration Act of 2004"; HR 3799,

- Promote legislative awareness for self responsible "Homeland Security and Defense" as provided for in the first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution as ratified in December, 1791,

- Begin the process of returning the federal government to its Constitutionally defined limits, and

- Defend and protect the unalienable Right of "the People" to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness as they exercise their intellectual and tangible property in creative, moral and ethical ways within their communities.

Thank you for your vote.
